After the first round of betting, there is a flop. This is when 3 more community cards are dealt face up. There is another round of betting, starting with the player to the left of the dealer. If the player on your right raises, you can choose to call by saying “call” or “I call,” meaning you want to bet an amount equal to the last bet.
